Preston’s College Dance students are dancing (not quite on the ceiling) and rehearsing at home while our dance studios are temporarily closed.
Preston’s College has worked exceptionally hard over the past two weeks to develop our digital capacity to ensure learners and staff have access to learning materials, enhanced communication mechanisms and remote support for our learners.
From a Teaching, Learning and Assessment perspective, our tutors are engaging with a variety of different methods to continue all learners’ education. A number of different digital platforms are being used, including Microsoft Teams, Canvas, OneFile, Skype, Zoom, Go-Formative, Smartscreen, Skills Forward, email and telephone.
And our Preston’s College Dance (PCD) learners have been no exception – putting all of these amazing resources to good use; keeping in touch with each other; enjoying revision sessions with their tutors and showcasing their rehearsals from home!
