Preston’s College continues to support the Lancashire Skills Pledge

Preston’s College are delighted to continue to support the Lancashire Skills Pledge and are privileged to work alongside this growing network of fantastic businesses who have become member organisations. The Lancashire Skills Pledge is designed to give businesses support in accessing Education and Training, and as a significant provider of technical education, Preston’s College is well-placed to support all training needs and requirements.

Preston’s College is one of 91 businesses who are Skills Pledge Members, with us actively involved in four Skills Pledges.

Liza Moizer, Lancashire Skills Pledge Manager, says: “The number of Skills Pledge Members has increase by 45% in 2020/21 compared to the previous year which is an amazing achievement and testament to your commitment to inspire and upskill the people of Lancashire, and it is a pleasure to give you recognition for it.”

Linzi Monks, Head of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement says: “We are proud to support the Lancashire Skills by pledging our support to championing and developing apprenticeships within the Lancashire region. Our promise is to give our apprentices, and all of our learners,  as many employer-facing opportunities as we can, together with the very best learning experience possible. We will continue to be an active Apprenticeship Ambassador and will continue to support individuals who are out of work, looking to re-train or working to enhance their skills and knowledge in supporting career progression.”
