Engineering courses at Preston’s College are housed in the impressive iSTEM Centre; a multi-million pound, purpose built facility offering a dynamic learning environment.
iSTEM is home to advanced manufacturing workshops, a subsonic wind tunnel, a host of 3D printers and purpose built welding bays, designed to help you formulate ideas, test briefs and present findings.
Engineering continues to be a highly sought after profession, with engineers and technicians amongst some of the most in-demand positions in the world.
If you are hoping to study an engineering degree but don’t currently have the qualifications needed for entry, our new Access to Higher Education qualification will provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to study at degree level, alongside a robust qualification that is widely accepted by a range of universities nationwide.
In addition, higher level and CPD opportunities are afforded by a suite of HNC and HND level qualifications, whilst those looking for specific CPD opportunities will find the Computer Aided Design and 3D Modelling qualification of particular benefit.
