This course is a beginner's plus qualification, which builds upon the knowledge and skills learnt at Entry Level 3. The course has been designed to build your confidence when using computers and provides a foundation to progress onto nationally recognised ECDL qualifications, if you wish to do so.
You will learn how to confidently use a range of devices to undertake a variety of activities at a higher level, including:
This course is classroom based and you will be taught by highly experienced tutors, all of whom have a passion for IT.
At the end of the course, you will undertake an online assessment. This must be passed to achieve the qualification.
Upon successful completion, you may progress onto the Digital Level 2 qualification here at Preston College.

There are no formal entry requirements for this level of study. You will need to attend an IT assessment and show a willingness to learn.
