This course is delivered in-person at Preston College.
To join this course, no prior knowledge of education is required – just a willingness to learn.
The delivery of an observed micro-teaching session is a requirement of this qualification, which sees you deliver a short lesson to your peers in your class.
In addition to delivering the micro-teaching session, you will be assessed by a variety of other methods such as written assignments, worksheets, and self-reflection.
This qualification can be an excellent stepping stone towards confident, effective training, and can also lead to further qualifications such as the CertEd and PGCE.
Applicants should possess sufficient English skills, typically demonstrated by a GCSE grade C (or equivalent), along with proficient digital skills.
If you do not hold these qualifications, you may be required to complete a diagnostic assessment to confirm your suitability for the course.
