ESSENTIAL DIGITAL SKILLS - ENTRY LEVEL 3 AWARD

Duration: 1 day per week for 6 weeks
Level: Level 3

The course is a beginners qualification, designed to build your confidence when using computers and provides you with a foundation on which to build more specific skills at a higher level.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

You will learn how to confidently use a range of devices to undertake a variety of activities, including:

  • Using devices and handling information
  • Creating and editing
  • Communicating
  • Transacting
  • Being safe and responsible online

HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?

This course is classroom based and you will be taught by highly experienced tutors, all of whom have a passion for IT.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

At the end of the course you will undertake an online assessment. Successfully passing the assessment will allow you to achieve ICT Digital Skills at Entry Level 3.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

On completion of the course, you may choose to progress onto the Essential Digital Skills Level 1 programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements for this level of study. You will need to attend an IT assessment and show a willingness to learn.
