The role of vehicle assembler specific to Dennis Eagle Blackpool has a wide range of duties. Employees will be working within the Finishing shop reporting to the Lead Coordinator and Area Coordinators. The role will be to aid in the full completion of the cab shell. We complete 6 per day to ship to DEW site. Tasks will include the following, some on a production line, others on a PDI line. The team consists of around 33 employees in this department.
• Interior floor coverings like rubber mats.
• The fitment of all interior panels, roof linings, lockers and bulkheads.
• The fitment of all electrical harnesses and looms, a wide variety of electronic components and equipment.
• The cab entry steps and wheelarch kits.
• The steering columns, dash assembles, heatersa and AC units.
• All seating and ancillaries.
• The front grill, headlights and ancillaries.
• The cab doors.
• All the various glass and window options.
• The electrical testingof all cabs. This includes a de-snag, clean and test prior to shipment to our Warwick site.
