We are activle looking to recuite an Apprentice draughtsperson within our in-house drawing office, working along side a small team of experienced staff.
This is an exciting oppertunity to join an expanding company, having recently invested over £5 million in expansion of the workshop and new cutting edge machinery. Your role would include detaling the steelwork and connections to enable the steel to be fabricated, creating the necessary information or the CNC machines, produce accurate and precise drawings to allow our erection teams to fit the steel on site. Having the advantage of in house engineers allows us to coordinate closely with the design team to ensure the clients requiremnat are met.
DUTIES
Day to day duties will include;
- Setting out the steelwork using a 3D modelling system
- Issuing drawings for approval
- Creating fabrication drawings and CNC data
- Arrangment of drawings for site use.
- Attending design team meetings to discuss projects
- Visits to site (if required) to check dimensions levels of existing steels.
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK
Working hours Mon – Thurs 8 – 4.30 Friday 8 – 4pm. 12.15-12.45 lunch each day. Total 39.5 hours
