To provide administrative and financial support to the accounts team while developing the skills and knowledge required for a career in finance and business administration. The apprentice will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry, and financial reporting while studying towards a recognised qualification in accounting or business administration.
DUTIES
Assist with the processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs.
Support credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments and maintaining customer records.
Input financial data accurately into accounting systems (e.g., Xero,).
Help with bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and expense claims.
File and maintain financial documents and records in line with company procedures.
Assist with payroll preparation and related administrative tasks as directed.
Support the production of financial reports and spreadsheets for management review.
Respond to internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee information.
Attend training sessions and complete all apprenticeship coursework on time.
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

Interest in finance, accounting, or business administration
Willingness to work towards an accounting or business administration qualification (e.g., AAT Level 3)
