Congratulations go to our hairdressing learners Emma, Imrana and Jasmine, who all received a top 5 placing at last week’s Concept Hair Learner of the Year competition!
Emma and Imrana from the Level 1 Hairdressing course competed in the ‘Hair Up’ category, both achieving top 5 placements out of 1,700 entrants.
Jasmine, from the Level 2 Hairdressing programme competed in the ‘Avante Garde’ category and also received a place in the top 5 for her category.
Commenting, Tutor Bev Hibbert said:
“We had a fantastic day in Birmingham with our students for the Concept Hair final. Whilst none of them secured first place, top five for all three learners is a great achievement and a wonderful experience for them all. With over 1,700 entries, getting through to the finals is a massive achievement alone and Jasmine, Imrana and Emma all worked really hard, with the event providing fantastic insight into a range of additional opportunities within the hairdressing industry.”
All three learners secured a range of Cloud Nine products, including hairdryers and straighteners, alongside membership to the Fellowship of Hairdressing as part of their prize.
