This Level 3 NVQ is suitable for individuals currently working in the electrical industry with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience. Knowledge and skills are assessed by performance modules consisting of real evidence that candidates must collate from the workplace.
Modules studied include: Health and safety, Applying environmental legislation, Overseeing and organising the work environment, First fix, Second fix, Inspection and testing and Fault finding.
The NVQ Level 3 is not a training course, it is an assessment of an individual’s competence in their current role and will require multiple pieces of evidence. Evidence will be obtained via witness testimonies, reflective accounts, assessor observations and professional discussions.

The course involves classroom tuition and workshops, if required but is primarily delivered via our online learning platform.

Upon successful completion, the qualification provides the opportunity to progress, as this additional qualifications allows for the undertaking of additional responsibilities. Equally, the qualification can be used to progress onto higher level study.
