This course is for students who would like to learn about different types of writing and develop your creative skills. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your existing talents, this 10-week course will guide you through key techniques and styles, giving you the tools to express your ideas with clarity and creativity.
On this Introduction to Creative Writing course, you will explore the following topics:
As part of this course, you will also have the opportunity to meet with a published author in an online Q&A session via zoom.
Furthermore, on completion of the programme, an anthology will be produced. This will showcase a representative collection of different work produced by students throughout the course.
This short course will be taught in a classroom environment, where you will follow a friendly, experienced tutor through a series of creative writing topics.
There is no formal assessment on this course but you will be encouraged by the tutor to keep a portfolio of handouts, notes, key writings and examples of your work to show the progress you have made.
The cost of this course is £120.
Once you have mastered the basics, you will be able to use your new skills to write personal stories, blogs and articles.
