NVQ Level 6 Contracting Operations Management
Dependent on experience and current employment

This course is designed for experienced managers who currently work in the construction industry and wish to advance their management skills in the trade.

What will I learn?

To complete the qualification, the learner will need to demonstrate their capabilities and show that they are competent in their role to work to an acceptable standard for the construction sector.

How will I be taught?

You will be provided with work based one to one training where required based on the initial skills assessment, to ensure candidates are competent in all occupational areas.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed on site through a range of methods including observations, witness testimonials, written questions and evidence produced from your workplace and professional discussion. 

What can I do next?

You can progress on to studying a Level 7 qualification in Construction Management. 

Is there anything else I need to know?

This course is designed for construction managers who also have site management experience and have the intention of gaining the Black CSCS card or Manager Card.

CITB grant funding is also available to support the achievement of stand-alone qualifications such as NVQs. Training delivery will be funded for the NVQ qualification which will be funded at the short-period qualification rate of £600 (if you are employed by a CITB registered company). Entry Requirements

Learners must be 19+ and work in a managerial role in the construction industry, overseeing contracting operations. Prior to enrolment, learners are required to pass an initial skills scan and questionnaire to determine suitability.
