Information for Adult and Higher Education learners

Prospective Learners

You may have seen on our social media channels that our buildings are temporarily closed but we would like to assure you that our application and enquiry process is very much open!

We hope that you find all of the information you need on our individual course web pages. From there, we would encourage you to apply for your chosen course using our on-line application form, as this will generate a phone call and/or email from a specialist adviser in your chosen area. They will be able to provide you with more detail on your chosen course, discuss any fees and funding options available to you and advise of next steps.

We would like to reassure you that an application is not a commitment to beginning a course with us. It is an expression of interest, which will provide opportunities to discuss your chosen programme in more detail.

If you decided that you would like to pursue your application, following a conversation with one of our advisers, we will arrange for you to enrol on the programme of your choice. Enrolment secures your place on the programme.

Once enrolled, you can expect to hear from Preston’s College in a variety of ways prior to the course start date. Exact communications vary from courses to course but typically include:

  • Welcome brochure
  • Bespoke course welcome brochure
  • Department newsletter and updates
  • Course start date reminder
  • A text from your new tutor, advising where to meet on the first day and what to bring with you

Applications can be submitted by clicking here.

We look forward to hearing from you!
