When you apply to Preston’s College, your application will reach our dedicated adult recruitment team. The team will handle all aspects of your application and enrolment, right until your first day with us.
Our Adviser, Julie, will receive your online application and make contact with you to undertake a telephone interview. She will also ask you to complete a short skills scan to ensure that the course you have applied for is the appropriate programme and level of study. Julie will speak to you about your chosen course, as well as the entry criteria and progression opportunities available upon successful completion. Her experience in providing advice and guidance will ensure that you are on the right course to help you achieve your goals.
Leadership and Management Tutor
Sophie began her career in Project and Quality Management, working for a railway company. Already holding a teaching degree, Sophie initially joined Preston’s College as a learner, studying on the HNC in Project and Quality Management.
Progressing into a teaching role here at Preston’s College, Sophie has now taught on a range of ILM programmes for the past three years, sharing her industry experience with her learners at all levels.
Leadership and Management Tutor
Janine began her career working in football and rugby clubs as a Physiotherapist, having also coached hockey and swimming. Working for the FA, Janine became intrigued by the Leadership and Management aspects of club roles and progressed onto study a Masters degree in Sports Business.
Having now taught on a host of Leadership and Management qualifications at Preston’s College for six years, Janine teaches across Levels 2 to 7.
Her own learning plans continue, as she contemplates progressing onto study a PhD.
