As National Apprenticeship Week 2026 continues, we are proud to shout about another apprentice success! Harpreet, a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprentice at Preston College, and who has recently completed with Distinction, has been recognised with the prestigious, and Highly Commended, Perseverance Award at this year’s NHS Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Awards 2025; highlighting Harpreet’s incredible determination and resilience as she overcame significant challenges to maintain high standards in her apprenticeship.
The Perseverance Award celebrates apprentices who have shown extraordinary effort and dedication, despite personal or professional obstacles. Harpreet’s ability to push through difficult times and remain committed to her work has been an inspiration to her peers and instructors alike. Her hard work and tenacity have earned her this well-deserved recognition for her outstanding achievements.
“This recognition for Harpreet is truly special, as it highlights the spirit of perseverance that we strive to instill in all our apprentices at Preston College,” says Linzi Monks, Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement at Preston College. “Harpreet’s journey has been a testament to her resilience, and she’s a great example of what can be achieved with determination and focus, even when faced with adversity.”
