Preston College adopts an inclusive approach to learning, offering high quality teaching to all, which takes into account individual requirements. Reasonable adjustments are embedded within the classroom, to ensure that those students with an identified need can fully access the curriculum and the associated assessment processes.
It is recognised that some students may also need additional support and this will be provided by the Curriculum and Learner Support Team. The focus of support is to remove barriers to learning and develop strategies. Naturally, support needs differ from individual to individual, including those with EHCPs and may include the provision of exam access arrangements, assistive technology, learning support coaches/assistants and communication support workers.

We can help with applications to UCAS, CV writing and interview techniques. Students also have access to work experience and careers advice and guidance in preparation for their next steps.
