Scarlett Woodruff is 16 years old and currently on a 1st year on a Level 3 course in Acting at Preston College’s Actor Training Academy (ATA). Scarlett earned a scholarship for this course. Scarlett decided to put herself forward for student governor as an opportunity to develop her confidence in expressing opinions to the Board.

Scarlett sees the role of student governor as being able to help contribute towards benefiting the College, by hearing the opinions and ideas of others, while also having the confidence to put forward her own ideas and beliefs. Scarlett believes that it is important to get involved with the College, outside of her own course. Scarlett is looking forward to this next year and the challenges that come with this role.
