As a Quality Control Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our lab operations, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards. You’ll work closely with experienced chemists and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world lab environment.

 

Your day-to-day will include:

• Testing raw materials and finished products

• Helping develop and improve testing methods

• Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment

• Supporting health & safety in the QC lab

• Creating Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and product labels

• Analysing data and reporting results

• Assisting with new product development and process improvements

• Learning how our production processes work and suggesting improvements as well as contributing to wider initiatives around efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and COPQ.

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

40 hours per week

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Has a science or chemistry background (GCSE level or higher)

• A team player who can also work independently

REQUIRED QUALITIES

• Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

• Polite, professional, and has a positive attitude

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A*-C, including English and Maths minimum. 

A GCSE in Chemistry is preferred
