Preston College Celebrates Student Success at the Student Awards 2026

Preston College proudly celebrated the achievements of its students at the annual Student Awards 2026, held at the Marriott Hotel. The evening brought together students, families, friends, and staff to recognise the exceptional accomplishments, commitment and determination demonstrated by students throughout the academic year.

The Student Awards are a highlight of the College calendar, providing an opportunity to celebrate the hard work, resilience and success of students from across the College. From academic excellence and personal development to outstanding contributions within the College community, the awards recognised the many ways in which students have excelled.

Guests enjoyed an inspiring evening as awards were presented to students whose dedication, perseverance and achievements have made a lasting impression. The event also celebrated the positive impact students have had within their courses, on their peers and in the wider College community.

Principal and Chief Executive, Simon Nixon, said: “The Student Awards are one of the most anticipated events of the year, giving us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students. Every nominee should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished, and it was a privilege to celebrate their success alongside their families, friends and our College community. Congratulations to all of our winners.”

We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a memorable occasion. The support of families, staff and governors played an important role in creating a fitting celebration of the talent, ambition and achievements of our students.

A special thank you to our Musical Theatre students Trystan, Ellie-May and Isabel for performing for us!

Congratulations once again to all of this year’s winners and nominees. We can’t wait for the next one and look forward to see what our students go on to achieve
