Building Practical Skills for Employment

Wanting to improve his employment prospects and develop practical skills that employers value, Philip enrolled on the Level 2 Property Maintenance course. The opportunity to learn a range of trades within one course made it the ideal starting point for what he was looking to achieve.

Throughout the course, Philip has developed hands-on skills across a variety of property maintenance tasks, from using tools safely and correctly to preparing and mixing materials. Each practical session has helped him build the confidence and experience needed to take the next step into employment.

Alongside learning new skills, Philip has enjoyed studying alongside others with similar ambitions, making new connections and learning together in a supportive environment. Evening classes have also given him the flexibility to balance his studies with other responsibilities, while the support he has received from the enrolment team and tutors has helped him every step of the way.
