Construction Level 2 NVQs

Preston College are delighted to be able to offer three brand new Level 2 NVQs, exclusively to those working in the construction trade. Courses on offer include bricklaying, carpentry and joinery and painting and decorating.

Offered on a three month intensive basis, successful completion of each course provides individuals with the opportunity to apply for a blue CSCS card.

These qualifications are available at a reduced cost to anyone living in Lancashire, with at least three years employment experience in their chosen trade.*

Assessment will predominantly take place in the workplace via observation, allowing individuals to demonstrate their competences in a working environment. In addition, an individual work plan will be designed for each student, providing opportunities for additional teaching to take place at Preston College, based upon individual needs.

Employers, upskill and retain key members of staff by supporting them through industry recognised qualifications and, if you are CITB registered, you may be able to claim up to £600 on completion!*
