The course aims to simulate a real life environment that will test and challenge your newly developed skills and as our on-site facilities reflect industry working practices, you will be required to purchase and wear suitable PPE, including steel toe cap work boots, gloves and overalls or clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

This is a highly practical course, meaning you can expect to spend the majority of your learning in the workshops, with the remainder of your time being spent in the classroom, learning underpinning theory that ultimately supports all practical projects.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

Informal assessment of practical work will be done to the relevant industry standards, supported by discussion. Assessment of theory knowledge will be via submission of a course workbook.

On completion of this qualification you will have obtained the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress on to the Dry Lining – Level 1 Diploma or you can progress on to another Level 1 trade programme.
