The VTCT Level 2 Award in the Art of Photographic Make-Up is a qualification that has been designed to develop your practical skills in providing photographic make-up services.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
You will learn about make-up for different facial features, skin types, eye and lip shapes, difference facial characteristics, glasses and contact lens wearers as well as lighting and other photographic make-up factors. You will learn how to use professional make-up products, tools and equipment.

Practical workshops and demonstrations.

Research for practical assignments

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
You may wish to progress to further study in Fashion, Theatre, Hair and Make-Up at Preston's College, upon successful completion.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
You will need to supply a basic make up kit.
You may want to supply your own model for some practical workshops.
You will come in to contact with a range of products and will need to be prepared to act as a model for other learners, so this course is not recommended for those with severe skin allergies.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
You will need to attend an interview to discuss your suitability with the course tutor.
