WATERCOLOURS & PAINTING

Duration: 10 weeks

This course is a perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and unwind from everyday life. Painting is a relaxing way to learn a new skill, enhance creativity and increase self- confidence. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your techniques, this course will support your development in the process of painting.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

During the course, you will be introduced to techniques, materials and processes to help you develop the skills to work independently.  Each week we cover a specific aspect of painting such as washes, colour and drawing, and by using a variety of subject matter you will put into practice what you learn during the sessions. Improvers will focus on developing, experimenting and refining skills they have learnt previously.

HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?

You will be taught by our specialist tutors who will help you to learn at your own pace.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

There are no exams during this course, however, you will be encouraged to keep a portfolio containing handouts and examples of your work to demonstrate your progress.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS COURSE COST?

The cost of this course is £120.

Please note, there will be additional costs, and during the first session you will be advised on what to buy. This will generally include watercolours, brushes and paper.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
