DIGITAL SKILLS

In today’s increasingly digital world, computer skills have become essential for everyday life and are often expected by employers across many industries. From virtual meetings on Teams and Zoom, to spreadsheet data manipulation and photo editing, IT skills go far beyond basic word processing.

At Preston College, we offer a variety of digital qualifications for all skill levels. For those just starting out, you’ll find Entry Level Digital Skills provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge needed to undertake everyday IT tasks confidently, in a supportive learning environment, with the opportunity to progress up to Level 2. We also offer a Cyber Security Level 1 course, where you’ll learn practical ways to stay safe online and navigate the ever-evolving world of online threats.

To ensure you are placed on the right level of study, all digital skills qualifications require an assessment prior to enrolment. This will be arranged when you apply and must
be completed before your enrolment can be processed.
