Future Plumbers ready to launch their careers through apprenticeships

Our talented plumbing students are nearing the end of their full-time studies and are excited to take the next step in the industry. With strong practical skills, growing confidence, valuable hands-on experience and industry knowledge, they are now seeking apprenticeship opportunities to help kick-start their careers where they can continue learning, contribute to the trade and build successful careers in plumbing.

Our Level 1 & 2 Plumbing students, pictured below, describe themselves as “hard working, resilient, team players and (importantly) really good at plumbing”.

Level 2 and Level 1 Plumbing students seeking apprenticeships.

Rob Gardner, who has been tutoring the students added:

“Everyone in the group has worked really hard on this course. Over the year, they have developed their skills in plumbing from the ground up. Having worked in industry for many years, I can confidently say that these students are ready to work in the industry. The students have really grown in confidence and can complete a broad range of tasks including bending copper pipes, soldering, and fitting sanitary wear. They have great attendance, they are reliable and bright. They are a cracking bunch of lads.”

Preston College offers apprenticeships many areas of construction trades covering brickwork, carpentry, electrical installation, plastering, wall and floor tiling, painting and decorating and plumbing.
