Industry placements account for 20% of a T Level qualification which equates to 315 hours in the workplace. The industry placements are essential in applying the knowledge learnt in the classroom into a real workplace environment. Industry placements not only build skills and knowledge, they provide an opportunity for young people to explore their chosen career options and develop workplace confidence. These industry placements wouldn’t be possible without our employers who provide these opportunities but also become mentors, sharing their invaluable knowledge and insight to the next generation.
