Hajara Ugradar joined the Board in April 2025.

Hajara holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University and currently serves as the Associate Director of Safety and Learning at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

With a strong background in governance, risk management, and quality assurance within the healthcare sector, Hajara brings a wealth of experience to the Board. Her roles have equipped her with the skills to lead significant change management programs, enhance quality and compliance standards, and implement robust assurance systems.

Hajara believes that education is a cornerstone of personal and community development. Her extensive expertise in governance and risk management will be invaluable in supporting the College’s mission of providing high-quality technical education. She is committed to ensuring that the College maintains robust oversight and accountability, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement.

In addition to her professional achievements, Hajara is passionate about fostering equality, diversity, and inclusion. As a Freedom to Speak Up Champion, she has co-developed initiatives to promote underrepresented voices and advance diverse leadership. Her background enables her to effectively advocate for these important issues.

Outside of her professional life, Hajara enjoys yoga, walking, and spending time with her family.
