APPRENTICE RECEPTIONIST

As a receptionist apprentice the applicant will be based in the reception area where they will also be dealing with the wider team within the GP practice including doctors, receptionist, admin staff and other health care professionals. As an apprentice you will be an integral part of our team, gaining valuable experience and skills in various aspects of the reception role under the supervision of the reception supervisor or responsible senior staff member.


Your duties will include assisting patients with booking appointments, dealing with queries, answering the telephones, filing, printing and doing tasks sent by the clinicians. You will also play a crucial role in providing great customer service to all patients.


In addition to these responsibilities, you will support administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, updating patient records, providing assistance and interacting with patients.Throughout your apprenticeship you will receive guidance and support, and this hands on learning experience will help you develop essential skills in customer service operations. We are committed to provide you with a supportive environment where you can learn and grow, ultimately preparing you for a rewarding career in the healthcare field.
