Transition Officer SEN (internal secondment to cover for maternity up October 2015 approximately)

This is a temporary secondment post and requires you to have the Budget Holder’s (Head of Department’s) consent. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking individual to join our SEN/Learning Support team.

The Transition Officer SEN will provide a high quality transitional service providing support and the delivery of appropriate needs assessments to applicants/enrolments who declare an SEN/Learning Support requirement or medical condition. The post holder will work with the Transitional Needs Co-ordinator and with SEN management, to ensure each individual student’s transitional and subsequent ongoing support requirements are addressed, effectively and efficiently in line with our legal requirements.
