Construction Multiskills
Our Construction Multiskills programme provides the first step to gaining a recognised qualification in the construction industry. The course provides a unique opportunity to experience a number of different trade areas, enabling you to sample and develop a wide range of construction skills. The nature of the course makes it ideal for those who are looking to start a career in construction but are unsure of the trade they would like to pursue, as well as those keen to develop basic skills for DIY and home improvement purposes.
Under the guidance of our industry experienced tutors you will have the opportunity to explore brickwork, joinery, plastering, plumbing, wall and floor tiling and health and safety.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will achieve a level 1 in Basic Construction Skills and GQA level 1 in Health and Safety. You will also have the opportunity to progress onto a full level 1 course in the trade area of your choice.
We offer the Construction Multiskills course as a mixed group and also run a highly successful female only group.
