We have two Apprentice positions available, one Mechanical and one Machining, in a growing engineering company. We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to learn and who work well as part of a strong team.
DUTIES
A wide range of duties in a busy environment, will be covered under the supervision of our production team leaders. We have four production departments and successful candidates will move through each department during the Apprenticeship before specialising in one of the areas.
Apprentices can expect to cover bench fitting, machining, and some electrical based duties in the production of new products and the servicing of used equipment.
A complete understanding of running jobs from start to finish will be gained and additional training opportunities offered when required to run alongside BETEC and NVQ programs.
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK
40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 30 minutes unpaid lunch
REQUIRED SKILLS

REQUIRED QUALITIES
Hard working, motivated individuals who are keen to learn and work as part of a team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Maths & English at GCSE Grade C or above, Functional Skills is also accepted.
Applicants who don't have these qualifications, they do have the opportunity to sit Preston's College Apprenticeship initial assessment.

In 2014 we launched are apprentice training program which has been a great success, developing our engineers and personnel of the future. Each year, since 2014, we have been joined by new apprentices who are training and developing to fulfil our ongoing and future job roles.
