We are a Civil Engineering company based in Chorley specialising in groundworks, landscaping and pipework, working with a variety of clients across the North West region. Due to an increase in workload, we are recruiting for an apprentice Groundworker to join our workforce with the opportunity to progress and further your industry training both internally and externally, gaining experience within all three of our expanding divisions. Ideally you will hold a CSCS card (however this is not essential) and we are happy to provide a training programme and will consider candidates with a good work ethic who are eager to learn a new trade. WORKING HOURS PER WEEK
42.5hrs per week with 30 mins unpaid lunch paid hourly.
REQUIRED SKILLS
We are looking for someone who is driven and keen to learn a new trade and ultimately looking to progress their career within
the business. We understand the job role of groundworker can sometimes be dirty work however you will be provided with all
necessary PPE which must be worn at all times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ideally a CSCS card but this is not essential. This is a labour intensive role, there will be heavy lifting, confined spaces and more, but you will receive all the necessary training and qualifications to complete the work for ECK Civil Engineering safely.
