LABORATORY TECHNICIAN APPRENTICESHIP LEVEL 3

The Incumbent will:-

• Carry out Quality Control Testing
• Reporting any anomalies immediately through to management
• Recording results and carrying out any resultant actions
• Carry out annual CE marking testing requirements for Emulsions; Polymer Modified Bitumens and Paving Grade Bitumens
• Prepare samples for distribution
• Assist other Technicians in preparation and testing of samples
• Keeping the Technical Centre to an agreed standard of cleanliness
• Preparing reports on work completed as necessary
• Carry out Risk assessments
• Report any incidents / near misses / dangerous situations

• GCSE level 5 in Maths, English and one science
• Must be able to communicate messages clearly
• Can use excel spreadsheet
