APPRENTICE ENGINEER - TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

A wide range of duties will be covered in a busy environment. The successful candidate will typically be producing new Thermocouple and other Temperature Measurement assemblies, including cable preparation, conductor welding, connector assembly as well as servicing/reconditioning – all prepared to specific customer specification and industry standards.
All assemblies are 100% function tested within our laboratory facility, current testing facilities are up to 1300 degree C and data is captured across three separate data logging machines. All data and certification are then prepared and sent out to customers with the finished assemblies.
A complete understanding of running jobs from start to finish will be gained and additional training opportunities offered when required to run alongside BTEC and NVQ programs.
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK
40 hrs per week, 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
