APPRENTICE PHARMACY ASSISTANT

As a pharmacy apprentice the applicant will be based in the dispensary they will also be dealing with the wider team within the GP practice including doctors, receptionist, admin staff and other health care professionals. As a apprentice pharmacy assistant you will be a integral part of our team, gaining valuable experience and skills in various aspects of the dispensing process under the supervision of the dispensary manager or a responsible staff member 

Your duties will include assisting with the dispensing of medication and preparing blister packs ensuring sop’s are followed at all times. You will also play a crucially role in managing inventory, including checking stock levels, stock rotation and monitoring expiration dates.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will support administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, updating patient records providing assistance and interacting with patients.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will receive guidance and support this hands on learning experience will help you develop essential skills in customer service and pharmacy operations .We are committed to provide you with a supportive environment where you can learn and grow, ultimately preparing you for a rewarding career in the healthcare field.

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

30 hours per week, 30 mins unpaid lunch. Monday to Friday with hours between 8am and 6pm
