A Message From The Principal

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

I sincerely hope that you had a lovely Easter break, and that you and your families have managed to successfully adapt to life during this strange and unprecedented period.

I wanted to take this opportunity to reinforce the importance of maintaining structure to your days whilst being asked to work from home, and reaffirm the message that college staff are very much continuing to prepare resources and deliver learning that will help you to continue to progress effectively on your chosen qualification.

We are still awaiting detail from our awarding bodies in relation to qualification assessment and certification for this academic year, and once we have received this, we will ensure that we communicate this effectively to all learners.
Please remember that the college support services are still very much operating, and if you require any support in relation to the completion of work, student finance or wellbeing and counselling, please do not hesitate in getting in touch.

I am very much looking forward to the re-opening of the college once the coronavirus passes, but in the meantime, the college will continue to follow government guidance in relation to delivering effectively for our learners, employer partners and community stakeholders.

I very much hope that you can continue to engage in home and online learning and look forward to seeing you again soon.

If you have any concerns as a learner, parent or carer, please contact us via email on: corona@preston.ac.uk

Stay safe.

Dr Lis Smith

Principal and Chief Executive Officer
