Christmas ecard Competition

We had some amazing entries to our first Christmas eCard competition! Students were asked to design the College’s eCard for the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher.

The winning design was selected by the Executive Leadership Team and today (Thursday 9th December) the winner, Nathan Hayes, one of our IT students was presented with their prize. The winning design (below) shows the College’s Visual & Performing Arts building with the Northern Lights in the sky and festive festoon lighting in the trees.

Nathan’s IT tutor, Sheena said: “The Christmas Card competition was a big hit in our class. The whole class decided to create a Christmas card and we even ran an additional competition in class. The competition was a chance for us to use some of the skills we have been learning in Photoshop. I even learnt a thing or two myself!”

Louise Doswell, Principal & Chief Executive added: “It has been lovely to see the designs that students put forward for the competition and we would like to thank everyone that entered. Well done.”
