Preston College hosts the North West Regional Heat of the Guild of Bricklayers

Preston College is delighted to be hosting the North West’s Regional Heat of the Guild of Bricklayers competition on Thursday 23rd March 2023; a platform for learners to showcase their excellent create skills, techniques and bricklaying knowledge.

The recent renovation of the Construction Skills Centre has provided industry standard workspaces for learners of all ages, allowing individuals to undertake training in work-ready environments, positively impacting on teaching, learning and engagement outcomes.

The School of Construction at Preston College and the team that leads this department have built extensive partnerships with businesses to make a real impact in the community and to ensure that our learners receive the very best in their technical learning experience. This has enabled the College to support learners and to develop the skills needed to address local skills gaps and create a workforce ready to meet the economic needs of the wider region.
