Housed in the impressive iSTEM Centre, Preston’s College are able to offer automotive courses for adults at level 1, level 2 and level 3.
Courses cover a wealth of topic areas, providing opportunities to explore vehicle maintenance, inspection, repair and auto and electronic principles.
Taught by highly experienced industry experts, in purpose built facilities, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to confidently carry out repairs to vehicles, undertaking routine maintenance, including work on engines, tyres, brakes, steering, suspensions and electrical and transmission systems.
For those already working in the sector, looking to upskill with additional skills and knowledge, we are able to offer valuable CPD courses, including our new level 2 Hybrid course – an ideal opportunity for qualified mechanics and garage owners to make sure they are equipped and ready for the automotive industry of the future.
In addition, level 3 opportunities may be available to study free of charge to those already working in industry, by way of the light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and Auto Electrical and Mobile Operations level 3 Diplomas. These qualifications will be free if you don’t already hold a level 3 qualification (or higher), are aged 24+ and live in Lancashire!
