Attendance & Punctuality

College policy states that attendance and punctuality must be above 90%, with the expectation that learners have 100%.

If a learner is going to be absent then they must contact the College via the Absence Hotline at https://www.preston.ac.uk/report-your-absence

If a learner is unable to report their absence, you can contact the College on their behalf using the details above. If you wish to speak to a student manager you will find the contact details on the Student Manager Contact Details page.

Registers are marked electronically in every lesson. The College is introducing a new text message alert system that will generate a text message to both the learner and their parent/guardian when they have been marked as absent.
