Entry Criteria

The College has set entry requirements. Please select the entry criteria for your course from the drop down list to reveal the criteria. Additional entry criteria can be submitted in the next section.

Progression only courses

Please outline the entry criteria for your progression only course. For example, for a Level 3 course do they need to have completed Level 2?

Level 1 Entry Criteria
A profile of mainly grade 2s. Learners will need to attend an interview showing their interest in the subject and a willingness to learn.

Level 2 Entry Criteria
Learners need four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including at least one of English Language or maths. The other subject should have a minimum grade 2. E.g. if they have a grade 3 in maths, then they would need at least a grade 2 in English Language. They will also be required to attend an interview to discuss their suitability for the course.

Level 3 Entry Criteria
Learners need five GCSEs at 9-4 grade including English Language or maths at grade 4. The other subject should have a minimum grade of 3. E.g. if they have a grade 4 in maths, then they would need at least a grade 3 in English Language. They will also be required to attend an interview to discuss their suitability for the course.

T-Level Entry Criteria
Learners require six GCSE passes at grades 9-4 and should have a strong passion for the T-Level subject. At least three of the passes should be at grade 5 or above, including maths and English Language.

T-Level Foundation Year Entry Criteria
Learners require GCSE maths and English Language passes at grade 4, alongside at least two other passes at grade 3 or above.
