Travel & Bus Pass Information

Bursaries
The College has access to a number of Bursary funds aimed at supporting learners with specific financial difficulties which may prevent them from taking part in learning. Apply today and don’t miss out!
Learning Agreement
It is really important that you sign your Learning Agreement as soon as possible. If you don’t sign it, you won’t be able to get your ID badge or attend any lessons.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is my first day/induction?
Your induction day is the first day of college. Depending on your course you will attend one of the following days, from 9.15am till 4.15pm.
Level 1 – Wednesday 6 September 2023
Level 2 – Thursday 7 September 2023
Level 3 – Friday 8 September 2023
After induction your first day at college will be week commencing Monday 11 September. Check your timetable for further details.
How do I get to college when I don’t have my bus pass yet?
Download a temporary bus pass here and show it to the bus driver. You can use this for the first week of college.
When do I get my timetable?
You will get your timetable during Induction.
Do I need a uniform or kit/equipment?
Some courses do require you to wear a uniform such as safety boots, overalls or tunics.
You won’t need to have your uniform for induction. If you are in receipt of bursary you will order your uniform during induction.

What do I need to bring to induction?
You will need to take notes, so bring a paper and pen with you.
Will I need to pay for my own lunch?
If you are a bursary student you will be able to pay for your lunch using your ID badge. (You collect your ID badge during induction).
If you have not applied for your bursary or you are not eligible for a bursary, you can bring your lunch or purchase it from one of the College’s outlets.
