If you have been offered a place to start in September you will have by now received an enrolment guide to your email and home address outlining the steps to enrolment. You will also have received your personalised enrolment account to your email address where you can update all your personal details and accept your course.
School leavers received the link to their personal enrolment account from Monday 6th July and 17 and 18 year old learners received their links from Wednesday 1st July.
For school leavers you will be able to log back in from Thursday 20th August to upload your GCSE results. For 17 and 18 Year old learners you will be able to upload your GCSE results immediately.
If you do not have any GCSE results to upload please email us on email@example.com and we will talk you through the process.
Once you have received the link to your enrolment account, please follow the below instructions to enrol:
You’ll then be able to login to your account at https://prospect.preston.ac.uk with your email address and your new password.

I haven’t received my enrolment account?
We will send your enrolment account to the email address you gave us when you applied. Check your spam folder. It sometimes ends up in here. If you still can’t find it email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will resend this to you.
I am unsure of the email address I registered/applied with?
We can check this for you. Email email@example.com and we will look into this and send you the email address you registered with.
I’ve forgotten my password, what should I do?
You can reset your password at any time by clicking here or using the link on the enrolment site at https://prospect.preston.ac.uk. Simply type in the email address you used to apply/register and click submit. A link to reset your password will be sent to the same email address.
I’ve logged in and have a few different offers. Which one do I accept?
You may have applied for a number of different courses over the last few months. You only need to accept the course you are looking to study in September. If you are unsure of what course to take call us on 01772 225774 and we can help discuss your options.
I’ve applied for an apprenticeship, why can I not accept this offer?
The enrolment account is for your full time course offer whether this is your first choice or back up option. We want to make sure everybody has a full time place on a course for in case employment isn’t secured. The apprenticeship enrolment process is different as it relies on you gaining employment first. If you have any questions about your apprenticeship application email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When can I upload my results?
For School leavers you will only be issued your results from Thursday 20th August. Once you get these you can log back into your enrolment account and upload your results. For any learner that already has their GCSE results you can upload these as soon as you accept your place within the enrolment account.
I’ve changed my mind about the course I want to study?
During the enrolment process we will have a number of staﬀ on hand to change your application. Please call 01772 225774 and we will have somebody on hand to assist you. If you are unsure on the course you want to study then you can also speak to one of our careers advisors who will be able to advise you on the options available to you.
I’m worried I may not get the grades I would have if I had taken my exams?
We are here to help and will do all we can to make sure you get onto the correct level of course. If you would like to discuss your options please call 01772 225774 and we will talk you through the levels of course and entry criteria.
How long does enrolment take?
Over summer you will have the opportunity to complete processes such as bursary applications and this will save you time on GCSE results day. If you need to speak with Student Services, SEND, or the bus pass team then you can do this by calling 01772 225656. Throughout July and August we are on hand to answer any queries. My circumstances have changed since I applied – who should I tell?

When will my first day be?
Your first day will be an induction to the College and will be within the week beginning 7th September. Term starts the following day or the first day indicated on your timetable.
When will I get my timetable?
You will get your timetable at induction. Your timetable is bespoke to you, it is built based on your grades, course of study and enrichment activities.
How and when do I get my bus pass?
Within the first term College will not be issuing bus passes. If you are in receipt of bursary we will transfer money into your bank account based on attendance. It is therefore important that you supply us with your bank account details when applying for the bursary.
