Curriculum Leader
Paula is Curriculum Leader for the Level 1, 2 and 3 Health and Social Care programmes here at Preston’s College.
On a daily basis, Paula coordinates all of the Health and Social Care provision and manages a range of teaching staff.
Curriculum Leader
Rory, a former Support Worker, is Curriculum Leader for the Access to Higher Education: Allied Health Professionals and Social Science courses. Rory coordinates both programmes and also teaches across a range of modules.
Tutor – Level 3
Rachel is our Level 3 Health and Social Care Tutor, with an industry background in the field of Psychology. Rachel teaches across a range of modules on the Level 3, as she supports and prepares you for university level study.
Tutor – Level 2
Nicoleen has worked at Preston’s College for a number of years as both a Tutor and Teaching Assistant. Prior to this, Nicoleen worked in industry across a range of age groups, including with children, young people and adults.
Tutor – Level 2 and 3
Somia teaches across both the Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care courses, specialising in modules which focus on sociology, safeguarding and equality and diversity. These modules employ a range of teaching methods.
Tutor – Level 1
Dee has worked at Preston’s College for seven years and specialises in wellbeing and mental health. Dee has vast experience as a carer for her parents and currently volunteers with Age Concern outside of her work commitments.
Industry Placement Officer
Lisa’s role at Preston’s College is to support you in completing any industry placement requirements, as part of your chosen programme. Lisa is passionate about supporting you to gain first-hand work experience in your chosen sector.
Student Manager
Joe describes himself as your human sign post here at Preston’s College! He works closely with the teaching teams to provide you with progression support and is also able to help with any pastoral issues during your time on the course.
